Electrical distribution Ground resistor monitoring relay The SE-330 is an advanced ground-fault and neutral-grounding-resistor monitoring relay. It measures neutral current, neutral-to-ground voltage, and neutral-to-ground resistance. It provides continuous monitoring of the neutral-to-ground path to verify that the neutral-grounding resistor (NGR) is intact. This is important for an open NGR renders current-sensing ground-fault protection inoperative and could result in a false belief that the system is functioning properly. The SE-330 can be used with low-and medium-voltage transformers and generators with low-or high-re-sistance grounding used in processing, manufacturing, chemical, pulp and paper, petroleum, and water treatment facilities. Littelfuse 2015 Rack transfer switch The Raritan Intelligent Rack Transfer Switch can trans-fer loads from one power source to another when it senses a power loss. Its hybrid design uses the best of both electromechanical relay and silicon-controlled rectifi er technolo-gies to provide fast and highly reliable power transfers. It also features real-time remote power quality monitoring with user defi nable thresholds and alerts for voltage and frequency, along with an ac waveform of last transfer and metering of inlet power loads. Additional features include inlet surge protec-tion, fi eld replaceable output short protection, redundant internal power supplies, and dual controllers. Raritan Inc., Nonmetallic coupling for indoor and outdoor applications Synchronized network clock for harsh environments The SEL-2488 Satellite-Synchronized Network Clock time-synchronizes critical networks in harsh environments that require high reliability and precise time. Receiving Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) time signals, the SEL-2488 distributes time via multiple output proto-cols, including IRIG-B, Network Time Protocol (NTP), and Precision Time Protocol (PTP). The SEL-2488 is ideal for applications requiring precise time information, such as power system control. The SEL-2488 also provides time delay compensation for antenna cables and output cables on a per-port basis. If GNSS time signals become unavail-able, the clock switches to the standard TCXO holdover, with 36 μs/day accuracy. Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Inc. The T&B Fittings Non-Metallic Expansion/Defl ection Coupling from Thomas & Betts (T&B) is designed to improve safety and reduce installation time for joining rigid polyvinylchloride (PVC) conduits. The fl exible connection of PVC conduit resists moisture ingress and stress caused by movement at structural joints. It accommodates axial or parallel defl ection of up to ¾-in., and angular defl ection up to 30 deg from the relaxed position. It can be used indoors or outdoors, for direct burial or embedded in concrete. Additional features include a fl exible neoprene outer jacket with tamper-proof stainless steel straps for resistance to moisture and corrosion.
